KOSHER VEGAN CERTIFICATION

Rabbi Andre Malek is registered by the Kosher Division of the New York State Department of Agriculture and is authorized by the State to certify Kosher. Rabbi Malek received ordination in 1972, from Yeshiva Chofetz Chaim and Rabbi Mendel Zaks, son in law of the Chofetz Chaim, Rabbi Yisroel Meir H’Kohen. Prior to starting RAM Kosher, he worked under Rabbi Bernard Levy at OK Kosher Certification, at the OU and at United Kosher Supervision for many years.
From 9/11 to the present he serves as a Chaplain for the FDNY under Rabbi Pasternack and the NY Board of Rabbis. He specializes in the certification and supervision of Vegan restaurants, bakeries and products with dozens of plant based establishments operating under his certification and supervision in the New York and Miami area.
KOSHER CERTIFICATION AS PROVIDED BY RABBI ANDRE MALEK INCLUDES:
Thorough kasharing of all preparation surfaces, utensils & cooking & baking ovens and racks.
Training in preparation of removal of bugs & worms from leafy greens , fruits & vegetables.
Triple soaking and washing with kosher certified vegetable based cleanser.
Lighting the ovens
Checking all ingredients for kosher certification and substituting kosher alternatives i.e Balsamic Vinegar.
Providing weekly spontaneous inspections.
Training new employees.
Providing communication via phone, text or email to the public regarding the restaurants products and services.
