RABBI ANDRE MALEK

Rabbi Andre Malek, registered by the Kosher Division of the New York State Department of Agriculture and authorized by the State to certify kosher, brings more than five decades of experience to his work in kosher supervision.
He received his rabbinical ordination in 1972 from Yeshiva Chofetz Chaim under the guidance of Rabbi Mendel Zaks, the son-in-law of the Chofetz Chaim, Rabbi Yisroel Meir HaKohen.
Before founding RAM Kosher, Rabbi Malek spent many years working alongside some of the most respected figures in the kashrut world, serving under Rabbi Bernard Levy at OK Kosher Certification, and contributing his expertise at both the Orthodox Union (OU) and United Kosher Supervision.
Since 9/11, Rabbi Malek has also served as a Chaplain for the FDNY under Rabbi Pasternack and the New York Board of Rabbis, providing spiritual support and guidance to firefighters and first responders.
Today, he is recognized for his specialized expertise in certifying and supervising vegan restaurants, bakeries, and plant-based products, overseeing dozens of establishments across New York and Miami that operate proudly under his certification.
